Thirteen Bulldogs earn Academic All-GCC, tying program record again

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State water polo team tied its program best for the second year in a row with 13 Bulldog student-athletes earning Golden Coast Conference All-Academic honors.

Fresno State's honorees include: Katya Aleshina, Hailey Andress, Riaan Bryant, Megan Cranley, Georgia Daly, Alice Johnson, Susanna Martinez, Katelyn Mobley, Caitlyn Mossman, Charli Muñoz, Sidney Strickland, Ashley Williams, and Marit van der Kolk.

Andress, Cranley and Williams graduate after earning All-Academic honors in all four seasons of their collegiate careers. Aleshina, Bryant, Mobley and Muñoz earn the recognition as freshmen.

The All-Academic Team consists of student-athletes that:
Fresno State's 13 selections this season tie the most in program history alongside with 2022, 2023 and 2025 seasons.

The All-Academic Team consists of student-athletes that:
- Are an active participant of their team having competed in at least Fifty (50) percent of games in the current season (may not be a redshirt).
- Carry over a 3.0 Cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
- Be classified as a "full-time" student for all terms of attendance.
- Have completed a minimum of one (1) academic year at his/her institution.
- There is no limit to the number of student-athletes that can be selected to the All-Academic Team if they meet the requirements
