Kody Batesole enters his second season as an undergraduate coach for the Fresno State baseball team.
Batesole helped the 'Dogs capture their first Mountain West championship in his first season with the Bulldogs in 2016.
The son of head coach Mike Batesole, Kody was a member of the 2014 Diamond Dogs as he redshirted the season.
Batesole was a three-year letterwinner as a shortstop at Buchanan High School in Clovis, Calif., under coach Tom Donald upon graduating in the spring of 2013. He was a member of the national championship team that clinched the No. 1 ranking in the ESPN RISE POWERADE Fab 50 national rankings in 2011 and graduated high school with a 3.0 GPA.
Batesole is a marketing major and has two older sisters, Kassy and Kally, and one younger brother, Korby, who is currently a sophomore on the Bulldogs.
