Fall 2022:
PERSONAL: Daughter of Gianni Piferi and Anette Ahrens and sister to Sofia Piferi. Outside of the tennis court Piferi enjoys playing other sports and hanging out with her close friends. Carolina’s favorite athlete is Roger Federer, and she admires her parents for the sacrifices they made to make her happy while she was playing tennis.

- Competed in two Fall Tournaments
- ITA NW Regionals in Round of 16 doubles with Misaki Kobayashi and Round of 64 singles
- Call Fall Invitational Blue singles draw qualifying round vs Stanford (0-6, 2-6) and White doubles draw Round of 16 with Gisclon
- Earned 19 wins to the season in singles and 10 doubles
- Held a 8-0 singles and 3-3 doubles MW record
- Held a ten match win streak
- One of two players to grab points in the opening round of the Mountain West Championship
- Earned singles win against then No. 39 BYU at No. 3 (6-2, 6-2)
- Named All-MW Singles Team
- Tabbed as MW Player of the Week (Feb. 27) after going 3-0 individually on the week
Fall 2022:
- Piferi delivered an impressive fall debut by making it to the semifinals in the Gold Bracket of the 2022 Call Fall Invitational.
- Piferi ended ITA Northwest Regionals with a singles exhibition win against Strongina from Portland State and an exhibition doubles win over USF with partner Serna.
- Ended the fall season with making it to the quarterfinals in doubles with partner Vyshkina and earning a singles victory over Goldberg of UCLA at the Jack Kramer Invitational.
- During the first dual match of the season Piferi earned the Bulldogs a point with a win over Moraes helping the team secure a 4-3 victory over Sacramento State.
- At line 3 doubles, Piferi and Nonnis helped the Bulldogs clinch the doubles point against Wilkins and Carter of #47 ranked Arizona.
- Helped the Bulldogs take down #38 Oregon by clinching the doubles point with partner Nonnis.
- Earned a straight sets singles win at line 4 over Weekley of #42 Colorado State.
- Played the season in singles primarily at line 4 and 5 in singles and line 3 in doubles.
- Fresno State sophomore Carolina Piferi was a key point producer for the Bulldogs, who won the 2022 regular season Mountain West Championship.
- In singles, Piferi went 17-1 overall, including n 8-0 record in MW play (1-0 at No. 4, 3-1 at No. 5 and 13-0 at No. 6). Piferi won her last 15 matches of the season in singles.
- In doubles, Piferi went 11-11 overlal, including a 4-2 mark at the top doubles position.
- Fresno State freshman Carolina Piferi teamed with Carlotta Nonnis Marzano predominantly at No. 2 doubles and twice at the top doubles slot for the Bulldogs.
- In singles, Piferi went 12-5 overall, including an 8-1 record in MW play (6-3 at No. 4, 6-1 at No. 5 and 0-1 at No. 6). Piferi delivered a three-set victory to clinch the match for the Bulldogs in a 4-3 home win over Boise State's Vannessa Timm (5-7, 6-1, 6-2) on April 18, 2021 at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center.
- In doubles, Piferi and Nonnis Marzano were strong contenders for all-conference honors with a 6-3 record at No. 2 doubles during MW play (8-6 overall). Piferi and Nonnis Marzano won six of their last eight doubles appearances - all at No. 2 doubles. For the season, Piferi was 10-6 in doubles contests.
