Brian Amuneke began his collegiate basketball career at Fresno State. After his freshman season with the Bulldogs, he transferred to Wichita State for one season before transferring back to Fresno State.
2025-26 (SOPHOMORE, Wichita State): Played in 36 games for the Shockers … totaled 85 points and 26 rebounds … Named to the Fall Athletic Director's Honor Roll ... Grabbed a season-high 5 rebounds in the NIT win over Wyoming (March 17) ... Swiped a pair of steals vs. South Florida on Feb. 11 ... Knocked down two three-pointers in a road win at Tulane (Feb. 8) ... Splashed in a trio of three-pointers in the Memphis win on Jan. 24 ... Knocked down a pair of three-pointers at Florida Atlantic (Jan. 15) ... Tied a season high with 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting from three-point range vs. Eastern Kentucky (Dec. 21) ... Second straight game with 11 points in a win over Mount Marty (Dec. 2) ... Had a breakout game in the Battle 4 Atlantis, scoring 11 points off the bench vs. Western Kentucky (Nov. 28) ... 2024-25 (FRESHMAN, Fresno State): Saw time in 29 games with six starts … expected to redshirt the season but was put into action in the fourth game of the season … averaged 7.7 points and 2.6 rebounds per game … ranked fifth in the Mountain West in 3-point percentage among players with at least two attempts per game, shooting 40.7% (35-of-86) … third among MW freshman in scoring … posted 10 double-figure scoring games with each coming in conference …made first career start the following game, recording five points and five rebounds in comeback win at Long Beach State … twice recorded three straight games in double figures … the first such stretch finished with a season-high 19 points against San Jose State on 7-of-11 shooting, 3-of-5 from 3 … two games later, knocked down a season-best 4-of-5 from beyond the arc … made multiple 3-pointers in 12 of of 20 conference games.
