2016-17 (REDSHIRT): Redshirted the 2016-17 season.
PRIOR TO FRESNO STATE: Played for Otero Junior College for his freshman and sophomore collegiate seasons .. earned first-team All-Region honors … averaged 12.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game while playing in 30 games as a sophomore … scored over 20 points four times, including season-best 27 points in Otero JC’s 93-78 road win at Eastern Wyoming College on Dec. 3, 2015 … as a freshman, played in 28 games when he averaged 6.5 points and 1.8 rebounds … scored in double-digits in five of his team’s last seven games of the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Los Lunas High School … averaged 22.6 points and eight rebounds per game during his senior season while earning spot in state championship game … two-time first-team All-District ... first-team All-State.
PERSONAL: Son of Wilson and Renee Holland … has one younger sister, Jordan, and two younger brothers, Jerris and Jalin … biggest athletic thrill was signing with Fresno State to play D-I basketball … most admires his mother, father, and all his coaches over the years … chose Fresno State because the values of the program and family atmosphere were a perfect fit for him … also recruited by Nebraska, Missouri, Tulsa, Robert Morris University, CSU Bakersfield and Sam Houston State.
