• 2016-17 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete
2018 (Sophomore): Medical redshirt season
2017 (Freshman): Played in two games....made an appearance as a pinch-hitter against San Jose State on April 23 and grounded out to shortstop on a 1-2 count to end the game.
High School: Four-year varsity letterwinner ... named first-team All-TRAC (2016) honorable mention All-TRAC (2013-15) as the Bears’ third baseman ... helped lead her high school squad to a CIF Central Section championship (2016) and earned MVP of the championship game ... named to the Fresno Bee All-Star team ... during her senior year, she batted .450 with 31 RBIs and a .511 on-base percentage ... was selected a volleyball captain and Most Valuable Player (2014-15) ... club-wise, she competed for the La Crescenta Thunder (2009-10), Clovis Rockets (2011, ’13) and most recently the Central California Dirtdogs (2012, ’14-’16) under current Bulldog volunteer coach Jeff Harger.
Personal: Daughter of Fresno State assistant baseball coach Steve Rousey and Robin Rousey ... has three older siblings (PJ, Gabbie and Nate) ... enjoys hiking, going to the beach and tennis ... favorite athlete is Michael Jordan because he overcame doubters and became one of the greatest basketball players ever ... biggest athletic thrill is making a game-winning play or getting a game-winning hit ... most admires her parents because of the amazing and happy life they have built together and the great family they raised ... chose to attend Fresno State because it’s an amazing school in a great, supportive community ... majoring in food and nutrition sciences.
