2017 (Sophomore): Served as a pinch-hitter in 19 games ... recorded three hits and five RBIs ... had an RBI-single against Purdue on Feb. 11, a run-scoring single against UNLV on April 29, a two-run double against Colorado State on May 11 and a sacrifice fly against Michigan on May 19 in the NCAA Seattle Regional ... drew two walks, one against UNLV on April 30 and another against Colorado State on May 13.
2016 (Freshman): Appeared in all but five of the team’s 55 games with 44 starts as the designated player and four at first base … posted a slugging percentage of .568 with 33 hits, 11 home runs, five doubles, 30 RBIs, 20 walks and 21 runs … went 2-for-3 in her collegiate debut on Feb. 12 against Indiana … accounted for seven multiple-hit games and drove in three or more runs on four occasions, including a grand slam on April 30 at San Jose State … registered a game-high two home runs twice versus Northwestern and Utah State … nationally ranked No. 125 in home runs per game (0.22) … named Fresno State Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week on April 18.
High School: Four-year varsity softball letterwinner and three-year basketball letterwinner … second-team All-American in the medium school division and was all-league during three seasons … competed as an outfielder and third baseman, but primarily at first base … logged 30 career home runs, including a section-high 13 as a junior … led the league in stolen bases in 2015 and paced the state in RBIs during her sophomore campaign … two-time Northern Section MVP and first-team recipient, CalHi Sports first-team underclassman and elite schools second-team … won back-to-back CIF Northern Section Championships (2014-15) … earned Prep Athlete of the Week and Scholar-Athlete of the Week … appeared in Sports Illustrated “Faces in the Crowd,” in May of 2014 … honorable mention as a basketball center during her junior year … competed for the KG Hitters and All-American Sports Academy (2011-14).
Personal: Daughter of Pamela and Sterling Jackson ... younger brothers are Donovan and Dante ... hobbies include playing basketball, soccer, music, reading and social media ... favorite athlete is Walter Payton because he is known as a hard worker and was a partial reason for her middle name ... biggest athletic thrill was hitting a home run cycle that landed her in the May copy of Sports Illustrated ... admires Dani Thomas the most because she has a love for the game like no one else, and her dad because he dedicated his time to develop students and athletes as a teacher and coach at her high school ... criminology major with an emphasis in victimology … chose Fresno State because of the athletic atmosphere, fan support and the opportunity to play in front of large crowds.
