2021 (Junior): Saw action in 25 games including 15 starts at catcher … logged 97 putouts … had one hit and one RBI … scored four runs … drew 16 walks … hit one sacrifice fly.
2020 (Sophomore): Appeared in 22 games and recorded 15 starts at catcher ... logged five hits, three runs and drew 18 walks ... recorded 83 putouts and a .989 fielding percentage.
2019 (Freshman): Appeared in two games as a reserve ... hit 1-for-2 with 1 run scored ... had a pinch-hit single in her first collegiate at-bat and scored a run vs. San Diego ... also had an at-bat vs. Santa Clara and played defensively at catcher, recording one putout and one assist
High School: Played four seasons for coach John Furhman at St. Mary's HS ... made the Sport Stars All-City team and appeared on the All-Area Softball Player of the Year watch list by The Record ... helped team win the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division II title as a senior ... led team to a pair of Tri-County Athletic League (TCAL) championships ... during her senior season hit .417 with eight home runs, 26 RBIs, and 21 runs with a .548 on-base percentage and .847 slugging percentage ... first team all-league selection in 2017, hitting .416 with four home runs, 31 RBIs, and 25 runs scored ... made the All Star Preps Best of the Record Team (All-Area) as a junior ... the St. Mary’s squad was ranked as high as No. 11 in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Softball Rankings ... earned All-TCAL second team honors in 2016, hitting .447 with 22 RBIs and 26 runs scored in just 26 games ... was charged with just one error in each of her last three HS seasons, tallying a .994 fielding percentage over the three years
Personal: Parents are Christian and Traci Preston ... has an older brother, Christian Jr. ... favorite athlete is Derek Carr ... had a 4.05 high school GPA ... chose Fresno State because of the supportive community that comes with the territory of being a Bulldog. Growing up, she would come to games and see Margie Wright Diamond constantly filled with dedicated fans and locals who would cheer on the athletes. Not only was that support shown on campus but throughout the city of Fresno. No matter where you go, she says, you will see someone in Fresno State attire. That constant support from the community made her fall in love with the school even more ... majoring in psychology
