Outdoor: Competed in three meets during the opening month of the season ... opened career with a seventh-place finish in the 1500m at the Central California Invitational (4:10.08) ... finished fourth in the 800m at the UNLV Spring Invitational with a time of 1:57.40.
XC: Did not compete.
High School: Held personal bests of 4:19.2 n the 1600 meters, 1:55.5 in the 800m and 51.1 in the 400 meters at Buchanan … competed in the Acadia Invitational, Mt. SAC Relays, West Coast Relays and twice at the California state championship meet.

Personal: Born in Clovis, Calif. … son of Phoebe and Robert Barrett … has three older siblings, Westly, Ryane and Rebekah … majoring in ag business.
