PRIOR TO FRESNO STATE:
University of Alaska Anchorage (2024-25): Averaged 5.7 points on .484 FG shooting, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks... went 28-5, won GNAC regular-season and tournament crowns, advanced to NCAA Tournament Second Round, and finished No. 17 in final WBCA top-25 poll … ranked No. 3 in GNAC in blocks per game, swatting multiple shots on 11 occasions … scored double figures six times … became sixth Seawolf to record five or more blocks against a Div. II opponent… boosted UAA’s GNAC Tournament triumphs with 8 points (4-6 FG) against Western Washington and 6 points (3-5 FG) and 4 rebounds in title game against Saint Martin’s … placed top-20 on UAA single-season lists for blocks (t-16th, 40) and blocks per game (19th, 1.29).
Otero JC (2023-24): Started 49 of 50 career games...averaged 10.1 points on .506 FG shooting, 6.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.2 blocks per game … led NJCAA Region IX South Division in blocked shots both seasons... named Defensive Player of the Year… was second-leading scorer (10.5 ppg) and leading rebounder (6.2 rpg)... made NJCAA Region IX semifinals … scored double figures in 16 of 26 games as sophomore...(2023-24): averaged 9.6 ppg and led NJCAA Region IX South Division with .546 FG shooting...scored double figures in nine games for Otero...went 21-5, 10-0 in league play and made NJCAA national tournament … established career highs as rookie with 28 points (12-13 FG)
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for BSV Wulfen of German Landesliga, earning 2018 player-of-the-year honors and helping team to consecutive playoff berths.
PERSONAL: Born in Coesfeld and raised in Lette, Germany...daughter to Barabra and Hans-Georg Köhne...has three older siblings...nickname is Heddi...chose Fresno State because she trusted coach McCarthy and wanted to join him in Fresno...first memory of Fresno State, coming from Alaska it was being able to go to the pool after practice...dream job is to play overseas in Europe...is motivated by her family to work hard...most inspirational person in her life is her mom and grandmother...would like to see herself living in Europe in the next ten years...can speak two languages (German & English)...goal this season is to win the Mountain West.
