2020-21 (JUNIOR): posted a season-best time of 24.38 in the 50 Free at the MW Championship ... went 53.07 in the 100 Free at the MW Championship ... swam 1:57.41 in the 200 Free at the Fresno State Invite (Dec. 4) ... posted top times of a 29.82 in the 50 Back, 1:00.49 in the 100 Back, 2:19.42 in the 200 Back ... earned Academic All-MW honors.
2019-20 (SOPHOMORE): Recorded season-best times of 25.16 in the 500 Free, 54.68 in the 100 Free, 1:59.83 in the 200 Free, 28.40 in the 50 Back & 1:01.67 in the 100 Back at SMU Invitational (Nov. 21).
2018-19 (FRESHMAN): Swam in four different events during the regular season ... had career-best times in the 200 Freestyle (2:02.87) and 100 Backstroke (1:02.59) at the UNLV Invitational ... recorded personal bests in the 50 Free (25.19) and 100 Free (54.41) in the dual meet vs. San Jose State to close the regular season
HIGH SCHOOL: Swam four years for coach Gary Gleason at San Joaquin Memorial HS ... named team MVP as a sophomore, junior, and senior after being named Rookie of the Year as a Freshman ... team captain as a junior and senior ... won the Coaches Award as a junior ... finished in first place in her Division championship in the 100 Free as a sophomore ... top times were 50 Free: 25.00, 100 Free: 55.17, 100 Back: 1:04.00, 100 IM: 1:03.99 ... also swam for True Nation Tritons club team and played basketball as a freshman and sophomore
PERSONAL: Parents are Hector and Patricia Madrigal ... has two siblings, Hector Jr. and Katya ... hobbies include watching movies, reading, and spending time with family ... favorite athlete is Michael Phelps ... chose Fresno State because of the amazing coaching staff and swim program. The coaches were very welcoming and the team was happy for her arrival. Not only is it close to home but it is also the alma mater of many of her relatives and they plan on coming to all of her meets ... aspires to be a physical therapist ... majoring in kinesiology-exercise science
