PERSONAL: Originally from Cairo, Egypt ... Ahmed has strong ties to Fresno State, with two sisters – Rana (2012-16) and Mayar (2014-16) – having starred for the Bulldogs. Rana (2013) and Mayar (2015) each earned Mountain West Freshman of the Year honors in their respective freshmen campaigns. Rana later became the first four-time All-MW Singles Team selection at Fresno State, and teamed up with Mayar in 2016 for All-America honors in doubles. Mayar was also the 2016 MW Player of the Year.

- Fresno State junior Dalia Ahmed earned 2021 MW Women's Tennis Player of the Year honors – the 14th Bulldog to earn conference player of the year honors in program history (third in Fresno State's first nine seasons in the MW).
- Ahmed was also named to the 2021 All-MW singles and doubles teams
- In singles, Ahmed went 15-2 overall, including an 11-1 mark at the No. 1 singles position with a perfect 7-0 in conference contests and ended the season on a ten-match winning streak at the top singles spot. Nine of Ahmed's 15 singles victories came in straight sets (4 of 7 in MW play).
- In doubles, Ahmed partnered with fellow 2021 All-MW doubles selection Deniza Marcinkevica most often at the No. 1 doubles slot, where the dynamic duo went 12-2 and ended the season on a six-match winning streak in doubles play. For the season, Ahmed went 14-3 overall in doubles contests (12-2 at No. 1, 1-0 at No. 2 and 1-1 at No. 3).
- Ahmed and Marcinkevica ranked ninth in the final 2021 Oracle ITA Northwest Region rankings.
