Women's Basketball Arrives in Philadelphia

The Bulldogs made their arrival this evening after a turbelence-laden plane flight from Los Angeles to Philadelphia. Clear skies and temperatures in the high 30s greeted the team upon its arrival.

Fresno State immediately hopped into preparation for its game Thursday against Mt. St. Mary?s in Game No. 1 of the Wildcat PNC Christmas Classic. After arriving at 6:15 p.m., the team immediately went to the team hotel. After taking a brief amount of time to check in, Fresno State departed for the Villanova Pavilion for a two-and-a-half hour practice. The highlight of the workout was the return of forward Channan High, who has missed the last five games with a stress fracture in her left foot.

Practice will continue tomorrow with the team taking some time off in the afternoon to do some sightseeing. On the team agenda is also a visit to the King of Prussia Mall, directly across the street from the team hotel. The ma
