FRESNO, Calif. - In the 2000 Women?s Pro Softball League Senior Draft, Fresno State?s Amanda Scott was the No. 1 pick by the Ohio Pride and was one of seven Bulldogs who were selected by the WPSL in St. Petersburg, Florida, on December 4.
Held in conjunction with the National Fastpitch Coaches Association?s Convention, the Ohio Pride (formerly the Virginia Roadsters) chose Scott as the first selection in the 2000 WPSL Senior Draft.
