NCAA Equestrian Committee Submits Proposal
The NCAA Equestrian Committee submitted a proposal on Friday, March 5, to the NCAA Division I Management Council on guidelines for equestrian as an emerging sport. The guidelines deal with issues in regards to athlete eligibility, coaching limits and number of contests per season. Fresno State was represented on the committee by equestrian head coach Megan McGee and sport supervisor and womens tennis head coach Irene Harris. The Management Council will now look at the proposal and make revisions as needed.
