Bulldogs Thrash Spartans 76-48

Fresno, Calif. - Tiffany Lewis scored 13 of her game high 17 points as the Bulldogs pounded San Jose State 76-48 tonight in the North gym.
The Spartans sealed their fate early in the game, shooting a dismal 10.7 percent (3/28) from the field in the first half. The Bulldogs led at the break 32-8.
In the second half the Bulldogs kept the pressure on, shooting 51.5 percent from the field including 4 of 6 from beyond the arc. Fresno State had three players in double figures: Lewis with 17 points, Amanda Baker with 11 points and Jessie Farias with 10 points. Porsha Boyd made the most of her time in the second half. She was a perfect 3 for 3 from the floor including 2-3 point field goals for a total of 8 points.
The win moves Fresno State to 6-8 overall and 1-0 in the Pacific Division. The Spartans drop to 2-12 overall and 01 in the division.
