English Team Closes Out Season With High Point Honors

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno State equestrian team comcluded the 1999 regular season by earning English high point honors at last weekends UC Davis Intercollegiate Horse Show Association event.
The Bulldogs placed first in six of the eight classes to compile 46 points as a team, outdistancing second place Stanford which finished with 22 points.
Freshman Sarah Woodward placed first in Open Fences and second in Open Flat, compiling 12 points and high point rider honors. The reserve high point ribbon went to senior Dina Bernardi with 10 points. Bernardi placed first in Open Flat and fourth in Open Fences.
Other first place finishers for the Bulldogs included, senior Keri Pilgrim in Advanced Walk/Trot/Canter; sophomore Erin Toooms in Intermediate Fences; sophomore Kalli Bowles in Novice Flat and sophomore Andrea Svenningsen in Walk/Trot.
