Equestrian Begins Two Full Days of Competition on Saturday

Cazenovia, N.Y. - In the first day of competition held today at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Finals in Cazenovia, N.Y., sophomore Elissa Lane finished sixth in Open Western Horsemanship.
Lane was the only Bulldog to compete in todays events.
Tomorrow, however, the IHSA National Finals will kick into high gear as a full day of competition will take place beginning at 8 a.m.
Included in tomorrows events will be the first stage of competition to crown the top English and western riders in the nation. Fresno State senior Dina Bernardi will take part in the Cacchione Cup which is given to the top English rider and senior Jennifer Jones will begin her bid to capture the American Quarter Horse Association Trophy as the best western rider in the country.
