Equestrian Team Begins Two Days of Shows Tomorrow

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno State equestrian team will host two Intercollegiate Horse Show Association competitions beginning tomorrow at the Fresno State Student Horse Center.

Tomorrows show will begin at 12:30 p.m. and will conclude around 5 p.m. Sundays show will begin at 9 a.m. and will conclude at approximately 1 p.m.

As an English team, the Bulldogs lead Zone 8, Region I, in points with 207. Second-place Stanford trails by 48 points with a total of 156 points.

In individual competition, senior Dina Bernardi (Salinas, Calif.) has a commanding lead over the regional competition. Bernardi has amassed 60 points in her six competitions this season. The closest competitor is Amanda Gillett of Stanford with 39.

Bernardi will compete in the first two competitions in each show.
