#2 Fresno State Softball Hosts Loyola Marymount On Sunday

Fresno, Calif. - In front of the fourth-largest crowd in school history (4,318), #2 Fresno State completed its Western Athletic Conference sweep over San Jose State with a pair of 4-1 victories Saturday afternoon.
On the day, the Bulldogs scored eight runs on 13 hits as freshman southpaw Kristen Hunter (19-4) and senior right hander Lindsay Parker (8-0) picked up the wins in the circle.
In the first game, Hunter scattered four hits and struck out nine to collect her 19th win on the year and improve to 8-0 in WAC play. At the play, the lefty went 1-2 with two RBI and collected her seventh double and first sac fly on the season.
Freshman third baseman Lindsay Fossatti had the other two RBI for the 'Dogs after going 1-2. Freshman right fielder Vanessa Czarnecki nabbed her first career stolen base and went 1-3 with a run.
Fresno State scored two runs in the first and added one in the third and one in the fifth. San Jose State pushed a run across the plate
