Fresno, Calif. - At 7?1" and 367 pounds, professional wrestling superstar Kevin Nash will add to the great excitement for the kickoff of the Bulldog Football season on September 4. The three-time World Heavyweight Champion will travel to Bulldog Stadium to attract and entertain fans during pregame festivities from 4:00 p.m. until kickoff of the Bulldogs game versus Portland State at 7:00 p.m.
Best known by his nickname "Big Sexy," Nash?s most notable highlights are: being the instigator of the New World Order (NWO) and soul of the Wolfpac, snapping Goldberg?s 160-0 unbeaten streak, and using his signature maneuver, the Jackknife Powerbomb, on WCW President Eric Bischoff.
Through the athletic department?s creative effort to generate several thousand additional Bulldog Football fans by scheduling extraordinary celebrity appearances for home games, Nash will evidence professional wrestling?s entertainment popularity. The pregame activities include: ? VIP Wrestling Meet/Greet: Fans can personally learn popular wrestling strategies during this exclusive pregame session for ONLY $25, which includes the Bulldog football game ticket! The session pass is $10 for existing season ticket holders. The first 500 fans will experience this unique opportunity for up-close interaction, autographs and taking photos of "Big Sexy," and Big Time college football. ? Interactive Autograph Session: As the stadium gates open, all fans will have the opportunity to hear a personal Q & A interview with Kevin Nash in the north end zone seating. Nash will be recognized just prior to kickoff as Fresno State?s guest celebrity. Another memorable opportunity for the devout wrestling fan is to be one of the Valley?s top 14 bidders to win a pair of 50-yard-line sky suite passes for the Bulldog Football home opener, and interact with "Big Sexy" during the first quarter (includes food and beverages).
