Fresno State Softball Meet the Team Festivities Set

FRESNO, Calif. - The 2000 Fresno State softball "Meet the Team" activities are right around the corner.
With the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Top 25 poll to be released on Wednesday, Jan. 26, the Bulldogs will make their appearance at half time of the Fresno State-Rice men?s basketball game on Jan. 27.
The "Meet the Team" at Fashion Fair Mall will take place on Saturday, Feb. 5, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the main entrance of the mall in front of Macy?s for men. Posters and schedule cards will be given away for autographs while games and pictures with TimeOut also will be free to the general public.
Fresno State?s softball "Meet the Team" dinner is set for Sunday, Feb. 6. Beginning with a social that starts at12 p.m., the dinner is highlighted by a silent auction that will feature a NFL football signed by Terry Bradshaw (includes Super Bowl years) and an autographed "Football for Dummies" by Howie Long will be up for bids.
The general public must purchase the $20 ticket in order to participate in the silent auction as well as purchase softball attire and have dinner with the ?Dogs. For more information and/or to buy "Meet the Team" tickets call (559) 439-0605.
