GAME NOTES
- Tonight's crowd of 41,088 marks the third consecutive game Fresno State has sold out a game, the first time in history the Bulldogs have posted three sellouts in a row.
- The win is Fresno State's 13th in a row at Bulldog Stadium, the third-longest home winning streak in the nation. The win also moves Pat Hill's career home record to 17-3.
- Marcellus Armstrong made his first appearance on offense this year. He had 21 rushing yards on three carries.
- Giachino Chiaramonte scored on a two-point conversion, the first time in his career he has touched the ball offensively.
- Charles Smith had two touchdowns on the night and now has nine TDs in his last 10 games.
- Bernard Berrian's 71-yard touchdown was Fresno State's longest pass play since Rodney Wright's 83-yard touchdown grab against SMU on Oct. 14, 1999. It was also the longest reception of Berrian career.
- FS is 3-1 when scoring first and 4-0 when leading after the first quarter.
- Terence Brown blocked an extra point, his first block of the season.
- Bryce McGill blocked a punt in the second quarter, the Bulldogs' second punt block of the year and second in as many home games.
- Deandre Gilbert had his first touchdown catch of his career. He also had three receptions for 42 yards, both career highs.
- In its last two home games, Fresno State has racked up 78 points in the first half, outscoring its opponents 78-13.
- In their home games this season, the Bulldogs are outscoring their opponents 109-36, good for an average score of 36-12.
- Both Lawrence Deck and Thabiti Lockhart had the first fumble recoveries of his career.
- Fresno State had 319 yards in the first half, the most they have had in a half this year and more than all of last week. Its 451 total yards was the most it since posting 685 against San Jose State last year.
- James Tillman's 43-yard run in the fourth quarter was the longest of his career.
- David Carr had a career-high four touchdown passes.
