Fichtbauer Wins Bulldog Tennis Classic Singles Title

FRESNO, Calif. - Senior Liesl Fichtbauer defeated teammate Kim Niggemeyer in the singles final of the Wathen/Hancock Tennis Classic Tuesday afternoon 6-4, 6-3.
The final was rescheduled for today after rain had interrupted the final day of play Sunday.
Fichtbauer was on fire throughout the tournament, dropping only one set en route to the singles championship. She upset Niggemeyer, the All-American junior and defending tournament champion, who had not lost a set the entire tournament.
