Bulldogs fall to Cowgirls in Laramie

LARAMIE, Wyo. – Fresno State dropped a Mountain West road match to Wyoming on Friday afternoon at the UW Tennis Complex.
How it happened
The Bulldogs fell behind early after the Cowgirls secured the doubles point, winning two of three courts. Fresno State's lone doubles victory came on court two, where Eliza Dunbar and Louna Cormier earned a 6-2 win.
In singles play, Wyoming claimed three straight-set victories to clinch the team result. Fresno State battled in several positions, including a tightly contested match on court one where Sofia Pizzoni pushed her opponent to a third-set tiebreak.
Up next: Fresno State will stay on the road traveling to Fort Collins for Colorado State on Sunday, Mar. 29 at 11 a.m. PT at CSU Tennis Complex.
