FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's tennis team heads on the road to the Rocky Mountains for two matches this weekend. Bulldogs will make their first stop in Laramie for Wyoming on Friday night before a stop at Fort Collins for Colorado State on Sunday morning.Â

Fresno State earned their first Mountain West win of the season at home against New Mexico, 4-1. It took all three doubles matches to play through to grab the doubles point. Vukicevic/Montiel posted a 6-3 win on court one, while  Dunbar / Cormier matched that score with a 6-3 victory on court two to clinch the opening point. New Mexico picked up the remaining doubles match on court three.
Eliza Dunbar marked her tenth singles win over the weekend. The junior helped her team to a 1-1 week and earned their first conference win of the season against New Mexico. The junior posted a 2-0 record at singles at No. 4 and a doubles win against the Lobos. During her singles play, Dunbar defeated her opponent in straight sets. Over the two matches contributed three points for the Bulldogs.Â
