Two Bulldogs Named to All-WAC teams

FRESNO, Calif. - Tiffany Lewis (Sr., Inglewood, Calif.) and Lindsay Logan (Fr., Sandy, Utah) were both honored by the Western Athletic Conference for their play this season.
Lewis was named second-team All-WAC, the second consecutive year she has received the award. The Bulldogs' lone senior, Lewis led the conference in rebounds with a 9.00 average, the second year in a row she has won the rebounding title. She wrapped up her career with 664 boards, good for seventh on the Fresno State career rebound list. She also finished her career with a rebounding average of 6.78, the third-best in Bulldog history. Lewis also was named to the WAC's All-Defensive Team for the first time in her career.
Logan was named to the WAC All-Newcomer Team for her sensational year which saw set a Fresno State record for single-season assists. Her 191 was also good for fourth on the WAC single-season list. In winning the conference assist title with a 6.82 average, Logan became the first freshman in WAC history to win the assist title. In addition to her exploits dishing off to other teammates, Logan finished fourth in three-point field goals per game (1.93), sixth in the conference in steals (2.43) and 14th in scoring (11.5).
Fresno State and Rice were the only teams to place a player on the All-WAC, All-Defensive and All-Newcomer teams.
The Bulldogs take on Rice in the first round of the WAC tournament Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at Selland Arena.
