FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's basketball team has signed a three-year contract with Reebok, making the company the exclusive outfitter for the Bulldogs, head coach Britt King announced today. Reebok will provide the team with practice gear, travel gear and shoes.
"We are very pleased to have our players wearing Reebok," said King. "A deal like this is another stepping stone toward the program reaching a level of recognition not only regionally, but nationally as well."
Fresno State's 2000-01 recruiting class of Mindy Clark (La Habra, Calif./Sonora), Devon Crosby-Helms (Seattle, Wash./Roosevelt), Chantea Fleming (San Bernardino, Calif./Ayala) and Annie Fagundes (Atwater, Calif./Atwater) has been named the 50th best in the nation by Women's Basketball Journal. In addition, the Bulldogs have a strong nucleus of players returning next year, including sophomore Lindsay Logan, a member of the WAC All-Newcomer team and the conference's assist leader. She was the first freshman ever to lead the WAC in assists.
