FRESNO, Calif. -- No. 28 Fresno State defeated Yale 6-1 in the opening round of the 10th annual University of San Diego Tennis Classic Friday morning.
The Bulldogs improved to 6-1 with their fourth straight victory.
Fresno State won five of the six singles matches and two of the three doubles matches to claim the win. The Bulldogs have not lost the doubles point in a match since losing 7-0 to Stanford on Feb. 9.
The Bulldogs will face host San Diego on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. in their next match.
