- The win improves Fresno State's home winning streak to 16, third longest in the nation.
- Fresno State is now 7-4 all-time against Oregon State, including 5-0 against the Beavers at Bulldog Stadium.
- The Bulldogs took a 10-0 lead in the first quarter, the second consecutive week they have jumped out to a double-digit lead in the opening stanza. Last week against Colorado, FS took an early 14-0 advantage.
- Rodney Wright finished the game with seven catches for 182 yards and two touchdowns, including one of 70 yards. The 182 yards is a career high.
- Fresno State has now won 20 games in a row when leading at the half.
- A crowd of 42,410 watched the game, a Bulldog Stadium record.
- Oregon State's Ken Simonton was held to 42 yards on 15 carries.
- The 44 points scored by Fresno State were its most against a Pac-10 opponent since the Bulldogs took out Oregon State 48-30 on Sept. 11, 1993 - a span of 10 games. In addition, FS's 44 points were more than Oregon State allowed all of last year.
- Paris Gaines rushed for a touchdown, his second of the year. He had only one all of 2000.
- The Bulldogs had six sacks, giving them 12 through the first two games of the year. Alan Harper had two sacks tonight and now has three on the season.
