RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Fresno State junior Greer McGettrick set a pool record in the 50 Breast with a time of 30.63 as the Bulldogs tied Cal Baptist 57-57 Friday.
The Lancers won five of the meet's six events but the Bulldogs earned 12 top-three finishes to end the meet in a tie.
Fresno State sophomore Caroyln Wigginton led the Bulldogs with three top-three times on the day. Wigginton placed second in the 50 Back (27.50) and 100 IM (1:02.08) and touched the wall third in the 50 Free (25.18).
In the 50 Breast, Fresno State made it a clean sweep with freshman Kathryn Easey (31.30) and junior Kristi Collins (32.52) finishing in second and third respectively. Collins also finished third in the 50 Fly with a time of 27.93.
The Bulldogs return to action Saturday, Nov. 23, when they travel to Flagstaff, Ariz., for a tri-meet with Northern Arizona and New Mexico State beginning at 11 a.m. MST.
