Carlotti Advances to Consolation Semifinals of National Indoors

FRESNO, Calif. - A day after dropping her first round match, Chloe Carlotti bounced back to pull in two victories in the consolation bracket at the Omni Hotels National Intercollegiate Indoor Tournament in Dallas.
The sophomore opened play this morning with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Jenny Langer of SMU. She advanced to the consolation quarterfinals, where she upset 11th-ranked Nataly Cahana of Old Dominion 6-2, 7-5. Carlotti, an All-American last year, entered the tournament No. 24 in the nation.
The Paris, France, native will now take on Stanford's Alice Barnes in the semifinals tomorrow. The tournament continues through Sunday at the Brookhaven Country Club.
