Equestrian Grabs Two High Point Championship Titles

The 2002-03 equestrian squad hosted their first English/Western show of the season last weekend. The Bulldogs captured both titles with 19 points in English and 29 points in Western. In the English division, four schools competed including Fresno State. Bakersfield College came in second with three points under the 'Dogs with 16. UC Davis grabbed 13 points and Cal Poly earned 10 points. In the Western division Cal Poly grabbed second place with one point under Fresno State with 28 points. Santa Cruz took home 23 points, UC Davis took 21 points, and Nevada took 17 points.
The 'Dogs' next action will be an English/Western show next Sunday at UC Davis at 8 a.m.
