POWAY, Calif. - The 12th Annual Campbell/Cartier Classic, hosted by San Diego State University, has been suspended and cancelled for the rest of the day (Sunday, February 17) due to rain.
Stanford was awarded the trophy in a runs-allowed tiebreak with Pacific (6 to 8, respectively) as both teams finished atop the standings with 4-0 records. The Bulldogs finished fourth in the 15-team tourney with the same tiebreak, edging Cal State Fullerton 5-7 in runs allowed.
