Mason Heads to Reining Championships
Western freshman rider Taylor Mason (Ione, Calif.) will compete in the first ever NRHA National College Reinging Championships on May 17th in Oklahoma City, Calif.
Five Individual Bulldogs Finished in the Top Ten at Nationals.
*Sophomore Katie Wagner (Fullerton, Calif.) placed ninth in the Individual Intermediate Western Horsemanship.
*Senior Katey Feeley (Santa Barbara, Calif.) placed eighth in the Individual Hunter Seat over Fences class.
*Junior Amanda Smith (Fresno, Calif.) placed tenth in the Individual Hunter Seat Walk-Trot-Canter Sunday.
*Sophomore Amy Reed (Grand Rapids, Mich.) placed third in the Beginner Western Horsemanship.
*Sophomore Dawn McIntosh (Los Gatos, Calif.) placed sixth in the Open Hunter Seat on the Flat.
Frazier, Knapp, Reeves and Mason Placed Third at Nationals
Sophomore Jessica Frazier (Lovelock, Nev.), senior Stephanie Reeves (Melo Park, Calif.) , freshman Beth Knapp (Durham, Calif.) and freshman Taylor Mason (Ione, Calif.) placed third at the IHSA National Finals May 3-5 in Cazenovia, New York. The riders compleated in Horse Judging.
