COLUMBUS, Ohio - Fresno State played its final round Saturday at the 2002 NCAA Golf Championships on the Ohio State University Scarlet Course. The Bulldogs tied for 21st place with Georgia with 1162 (+26).
"If you shoot a 71, 72 or 73 on this course, you are playing really good golf," said Mike Watney." It's just that we mixed in some high scores. This golf course is extremely difficult and we struggle a little bit. It wasn't our week. I am proud of these guys and sad that our seniors are leaving because Jonathan and Dustin are really great young men. I am already really excited for next year."
