FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State continues its three-game WAC road trip tonight against UTEP. The Bulldogs are 15-4 (8-2 WAC) and in first place in the conference, 1.5 games ahead of Nevada, which defeated the Bulldogs 92-79 last week.
The Miners are 4-14 (2-7 WAC) and have lost two in a row and six of the last seven.
The Bulldogs hold a 13-9 lead in the all-time series. While Fresno State owns a 10-1 record at Selland Arena, it has gone just 3-8 in scenic El Paso, Texas, including losses in three of the last four. The Bulldogs do have a three-game winning streak against the Miners and are looking for their second season sweep of UTEP in two years. Fresno State has also had an amount of success against the Miners in recent years, winning 10 of the last 13 meetings.
