Carlotti Named WAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

DENVER - Fresno State's Chloe Carlotti has been named the Western Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
Carlotti, a sophomore from Paris, France, went a combined 8-0 in her singles and doubles matches, all coming against teams ranked nationally. In singles, the eighth-ranked Carlotti defeated players ranked No. 36, 39, 49 and 107, running her record on the year to 23-7 overall and 14-2 in dual matches.
In doubles, she teamed with Lucia Tallo to take out ninth-ranked Claire Carter and Darija Klaic of Washington and also claimed victory in their three other doubles matches during the week. Carlotti and Tallo, ranked No. 28 in the nation, are now 11-2 (7-1 dual).
It marked the second time since February that Carlotti has been the WAC Player of the Week. She was also named conference player of the month for September.
