Equestrian Completes IHSA National Finals

MURFREESBORO, Tenn.- The 2003-03 riders completed the 2003 IHSA National Finals this last weekend, hosted by Middle Tennessee State University. In the overall competition, the Bulldogs finished 12th in English and seventh in Western out of a total of 14 schools from around the country.
Out of the 17 riders competing, six placed in the top 10. Amanda Smith finished third in Novice Equitation on the Flat, Stephanie Reeves finished fifth in Intermediate Stock Seat, Jessica Frazier finished sixth in Open Stock Seat, Amanda Hancock finished eighth in Novice Equitation over Fences and 10th in Intermediate Equitation over Fences, Dawn McIntosh finished ninth in Open Equitation on the flat and 10th in Open Equitation over Fences and Becky Warmerdam finished ninth in Beginning Stock Seat.
Equestrian's next action will be Thursday, May 15 at the NRHA Derby Reining College Finals in Oklahoma City.
