- Idaho became the first opponent this season to score on the opening drive after the kickoff, marching 80 yards on five plays in 1:16.
- Joe Fernandez scored on a 72-yard punt return. It was just the third career return by Fernandez in his career. Fernandez replaced Adam Jennings (shoulder) on the punt return unit. He has scored three touchdowns in the last two games.
- Jaron Fairman's blocked punt was the second for a touchdown this season. Fairman blocked the punt and returned it 23 yards for the score, Fresno State's fifth punt return for a TD this season, extending their current school record. Paul Williams added a blocked punt in the third quarter. It was Fresno State's 56th and 57th blocks in the Pat Hill era. It was the second time Williams was a part of a punt block this season. Against Toledo he scooped a Ricky Miller blocked punt and scored.
- Mike Lingua's second quarter punt was the first by the Dogs in six quarters. It was downed on the 2 yard line by Paul Williams. His 53 yard punt in the second quarter was the longest of the season. He averaged 44.3 yards per punt, his best average of the season.
- Fresno State's safety in the second quarter by Emanuel Sanchez was Fresno State's second this season. The Dogs had one last week vs. Utah State.
- Fresno State scored its first 16 points of the game without the offense on the field.
- Fresno State out-gained Idaho in punt return yards by a total of 137-0. For the season, the Bulldogs are leading their opponents in punt return yards 467-3.
- The Dogs lost the turnover margin 2-1. Fresno State is now +5 for the year.
- Idaho kicker Mike Barrow's 50 yard field goal was the longest by an opponent since Sept.21, 2002 when Oregon State's Noah Happe kicked a 52-yard field goal.
- This was the first game of the season the Dogs didn't score a first half touchdown. Fresno State was averaging 25.6 points in the first half of games this season entering today.
- Devyn McDonald's 1 yard touchdown reception with the first of his career.
- Pinegar passed David Carr (7,727) for third place on the career passing yardage list. Pinegar now has 7,985 career passing yards.
- Fernandez had career high for receptions (7) and yards (93).
- Matt Rivera had career highs for receptions (6) and yards (78).
- Junior Kyle Zimmerman scored his first career points converting two PATs late in the game for injured Clint Stitser.
- Wendell Mathis had his second 100-yard game of the season with 101 yards on 11 carries. He averaged 9.2 yards per carry.
- Fresno State posted its second second-half shutout in the last three games.
- The Dogs have allowed a total of 38 points through their first three WAC games.
- The Bulldog defense held Idaho to 63 total yards on the second half and for the third straight game have limited their opponents to right around 200 total yards for the game: New Mexico State (195)m Utah State (211), Idaho (213)
