- Fresno State held the Broncos to seven points, the fewest scored since the 1991 season opener, a 38-7 loss to UCLA. The Broncos entered the game ranked No. 8 in the nation in scoring at more than 37 points per game.
- Boise State's 67-yard touchdown run on the second play of the game was the longest play from scrimmage the Fresno State defense has allowed all season.
- Wendell Mathis' 15-yard touchdown run extended his streak of scoring a touchdown in every Fresno State game this year. He rushed for 1212 yards in the game, the fourth consecutive game he's surpassed 100 yards.
- Marcus McCauley intercepted Boise State's Jared Zabransky with 1:22 left in the first quarter for his first interception of the year and his first since November 20, 2004 against Nevada.
- Paul Pinegar became the school's all-time leader in touchdown passes with his 71st career touchdown pass to Paul Williams with 14:48 remaining in the first half. Pinegar passed David Carr on the all-time list with the 29-yard pass to Williams. He has 72 in his career.
- Paul Williams' 98-yard touchdown catch with 8:22 remaining in the first half was the longest in school history, breaking Stephen Baker's 95-yard touchdown catch against Oregon State in 1985. Williams' catch was also the second longest passing play in WAC history.
- Williams' second touchdown catch of the game marked the first time in his career that he has scored more multiple touchdowns in one contest. He had his career-high in receiving yards (149), with his second straight 100-yard game.
- Kyle Zimmerman's 29-yard field goal with 4:25 left in the second quarter marks the longest of his career.
- Marcus Riley recovered his first fumble of the year and the second of his career late in the second quarter after a Richard Marshall hit forced the ball loose.
- Paul Pinegar had thrown 61 consecutive passes before throwing an early third quarter interception.
- Wendell Mathis rushed for over 100 yards for the fourth consecutive game.
- Paul Williams set a career-high for the second consecutive week, catching six passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns.
- Fresno State's victory over Boise State snaps the Broncos' 31-game WAC winning streak.
- Tonight's attendance of 42,781 was the fifth largest crowd in Bulldog Stadium history, and the second highest total overall.
- Fresno State rolled up 206 rushing yards against the Broncos, who entered the game ranked No, 15 in the NCAA in rush defense, allowing just over 100 yards per game.BR>
- The Dogs have shutout opponents in 20 of 36 quarters this season and had their fourth shutout of a half. Fresno State has allowed just 31 points in the second halves of their last seven games (4.4 points per game).
- Garrett McIntyre's two sacks gives him 25 in his career, good for third place on the career list (tied with Nick Burley, 1999-02).
