Fresno State plays its second and final exhibition contest of the season on Tuesday, Nov. 15, against the Melbourne Roos, a competitive travelling team from Australia. The game begins at 6 p.m. and represents the first half of a doubleheader with the men's team. Later this week, the 41st season of Fresno State women's basketball officially gets underway with the season-opener on Friday, Nov. 18 at UC Irvine (0-0).
`Dogs Trounce Fresno Pacific 91-46 In Exhibition
Fresno State had little trouble in its first exhibition, routing crosstown rival Fresno Pacific 91-46 on Nov. 5. Four players scored in double-figures- led by Toni Atherley's 15 points- and the Bulldog defense forced 39 turnovers.
