Bulldogs announce conference schedule

FRESNO, Calif.-Â Fresno State women's basketball team and head coach Ryan McCarthy announced the slate of Mountain West conference games on Wednesday afternoon.Â
The conference portion of the schedule features ten home games, nine road contests and two double-headers. Bulldogs' will face Air Force and New Mexico only once this season.Â
Fresno State will open conference play against defending Mountain West Champions, San Diego State for the conference home opener (Dec. 17) followed by Wyoming (Dec. 20), also at the Save Mart Center. Fresno State will hold a home court advantage against San Jose State (Jan. 7), Utah State (Jan. 14), Colorado State (Jan. 24), Air Force (Jan. 31), Nevada (Feb. 7) and Boise State (Feb.11).Â
Bulldogs will ring out the year against UNLV (Dec. 31) for the first MW road trip, followed by a trip to Fort Collins for Colorado State (Jan. 3). 'Dogs will face off against the newest MW opponent, Grand Canyon (Jan. 10), then take trips to Nevada (Jan. 17), Boise State (Jan. 21), Wyoming (Jan. 28), San Jose State (Feb. 4) and Utah State (Feb. 15).Â
'Dogs will have a BYE week closing in on the final four games of MW play against San Diego State (Feb. 21), back home for Grand Canyon (Feb. 25) and UNLV for Senior Day (Feb. 28) then at New Mexico (Mar. 3).Â
The 2026 Old Trapper Mountain West Championship will once again be held in Las Vegas, Nev. at the Thomas & Mack Center. The tournament begins on Saturday, Mar. 7 with the championship game on Tuesday, Mar. 10.
