FRESNO, Calif. - - Fantastic Sports, Fresno State's official charter company, today announced that they have made a limited number of additional air packages available for Fresno State fans to attend the Liberty Bowl in historic Memphis.
Air packages include roundtrip airfare on a chartered plan, three nights stay in one of their two hotels, ground transportation to and from the game, a shuttle service to Beale Street and other destinations, game tickets, and a hosted pep rally at the Convention Center. Land packages are also available for purchase, which include all of the same elements excluding airfare.
"This will be a special bowl experience for our players and fans, unlike any experience we've ever had," said head coach Pat Hill. Memphis has a lot to offer and is a great historic Southern city. We found the Southern hospitality to be at its finest and I know everyone will enjoy the many great things Memphis has to offer."
Among the activities include a parade on historic Beale Street, visits to Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley, the cuisine and experience of Beale Street on New Year's Eve. Memphis lies on the banks of the Mississippi River and is home of the National Civil Rights Museum and the Mississippi River Museum on Mud Island.
Previous Liberty Bowl participants include Penn State, Alabama, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Georgia, Auburn, LSU, USC and Nebraska.
