FRESNO, Calif. - ReadFresno and Bulldog student-athletes are coming together to host a book drive at the last home football game. Fresno State will be taking on Idaho on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. in Bulldog Stadium.
ReadFresno is an organization designed to support children's literacy in the Valley. The vision is that every child will read on grade level by the end of the third grade. Fresno State Athletics Department joined the cause back in April when deciding all 17 Bulldog teams would participate in the program by reading to students at area elementary schools and increasing the visibility of the program
Books can be dropped off in collection bins at the four main entrances (North, South, East and West gates). The preferred books should be new or slightly used and between kindergarten and third grade level.
