2007 NCAA Fresno Regional Basketball Tickets on Sale

FRESNO, Calif. - March Madness is coming to Fresno next spring and college basketball fans in the Valley can order their tickets immediately.
Fresno State and the Save Mart Center have been selected as the site of a 2007 NCAA Women's Basketball Regional championship. The winner of the Fresno Regional will advance to the 2007 Women's Final Four, which is played in Cleveland April 1-3, 2007.
The Fresno Regional takes place Saturday, March 24 and Monday, March 26, 2007 at the Save Mart Center. The game times have not been determined. This is the first time Fresno State has been selected to host an NCAA regional final. Fresno State did host the 2005 NCAA women's basketball first and second rounds events.
"It's very exciting for college basketball fans in the Valley to have the opportunity to see the NCAA championships," said Fresno State head women's coach Adrian Wiggins. "Having a regional final means that the teams playing the best come tournament time will have to win the Fresno regional to advance to the Women's Final Four. We will have elite teams, players and coaches on our campus vying for a national title."
All session tickets to the general public are available now. All-session tickets, which include three games of the regional competition, two semifinal games and the regional final, are $52 for adults and $27 for youth.
Tickets will be distributed 2-3 weeks prior to the event. Tickets will be assigned at later date, based on time and date of order. Single session tickets will be placed on sale the week of March 20, 2007.
