The Bulldogs played before a national audience just nine days ago at Creighton on ESPN. Fresno State is playing on ESPN's Big Monday for the fourth time since the 1997-98 season. The Bulldogs played two ESPN Big Monday games during the 1998-99 season, meeting New Mexico on Jan. 4 and Utah on Jan. 25, 1999. In ESPN Big Monday contests, Fresno State owns a 2-1 overall mark and is 1-0 at home (W 86-80 versus New Mexico) since the 1997-98 campaign.
The Series
Fresno State wraps up its season series against Boise State. Having met for the first time in 1976, the Bulldogs are playing the Broncos for the 18th time as the `Dogs own a 10-7 series lead. Boise State has won three straight and five of the last seven meetings. Fresno State is 5-3 at home versus BSU as the two last met at the Save Mart Center on Jan. 13, 2005. The Bulldogs captured an 89-82 victory.
