Dogs Continue Domination over Wildcats

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State equestrian team was nearly perfect in its NCAA dual with Kansas State, winning 14 of 16 matched in a 1646.1-1562.51 win over the Wildcats at the Fresno State Animal Science Pavilion. The show had be to held indoor due to the amount if rain that drenched the Valley during the week.
The saturated Fresno State Student Horse Center was so wet that Sunday's Fresno State Invitational had to be cancelled.
Saturday's show featured the western riders. On Friday, the Bulldogs built a commanding lead over the Wildcats after sweeping all eight matches. On Saturday, Fresno State took seven of eight individual matches from Kansas State.
"We had another great day," said head coach Becky Malmo. "All in all, this was a very good weekend for us. It gives us a lot of confidence as we head toward the end of our season."
