Freshman Magdalena Tokarska came up with the clinching victory at the No. 5 spot, defeating Klaudyna Kasztelaniec in three sets after having lost the first set. Fresno State's Mar. 11 match with Penn was canceled due to rain. But the following day, Mar. 12, produced good weather while Fresno State pulled out a 5-2 win over New Mexico. The Bulldogs lost the doubles point, but bounced right back in singles, winning five of the six matches - all in two sets. Winterhalter provided the clinching win at the No. 2 spot, beating Iva Gersic 6-2, 6-1.
