No. 24 Bulldogs Get Rained Out At Utah State

LOGAN, Utah - The No. 24 Fresno State softball team had its Western Athletic Conference series finale against Utah State cancelled due to inclement weather.
With freezing rain coming down since mid-morning and heavy showers expected to come into the area for the remainder of the day, the Bulldogs lost their sixth game of the season due to weather.
Johnson Field, home to the Aggies and deemed unplayable, has been saturated all week with heavy rains as USU also lost home games to Harvard and Utah earlier in the week.
Fresno State (24-13, 4-1 WAC) and Utah State (4-21, 0-2 WAC) will make up the game if needed during the latter part of the season.
The Bulldogs will be on the road again next week when they travel to No. 5 Stanford on Wed., April 5, 5:00 p.m.
Fresno State will then return home for an eight-game homestand starting April 11 with a non-conference doubleheader against Saint Mary's.
